There are two sets of responsibilities:  Those of the farrier - MYSELF, and those of YOU the horse owner.

MY RESPONSIBILITIES::

To insure I do the best job I can on your horse - treat your horse as if it was my own.

Be on time for appointments, and if late notify you I will be late.

Be honest in all aspects of my work.

Continue to improve my knowledge through education.

When possible insure customer knows the costs before work is done.

Any problems are taken care of in a timely manner.

OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITIES:

Make appointments in a timely manner.

Provide a good clean work place,  with good lights and level floor.

Present a well mannered horse to work on, and if necessary someone to hold the horse.

Pay when work is done, unless previous arrangements have been made.

Notify me of any problems.

August 2008 I completed the Danish Farrier Certification Program and am a Certified Farrier in Denmark

#300

In January 2009 I traveled to Chicago, Illinois to take the examination with

THE GUILD OF PROFESSIONAL FARRIERS

#147

I am now a Registered Journeyman Farrier(RJF) with the Guild and hope to continue

my education to the Master Farrier level.

     In 1997 I attended a Farrier Course

at Cornell University in New York, and again in 2005.  I have attended Farrier activities

in Ireland and in Denmark.  I am also a member of the American Farrier's Association.
