HOT SHOEING

Working the shoe hot allows me to better shape the shoe.

Enlarging nail holes enables the nail head to sit deep in the hole.

Notice nail head depth, much easier with a hot shoe.

Working special shoes hot is much easier to shape to the horse's hoof

Rocking the toe keeps the sliding shoe from plowing dirt into the dirt while sliding.   On a front shoe it allows the foot to break over faster.

Hot setting to the horse allows for a better fit to the hoof, plus locks the horn after trimming.

Great to work on a nice horse.
